When: Submit your application by 12 October, 5pm.
Where: MAMA, 546 Dean Street, Albury
Suitable for ages: Applicants must be aged between 16 and 21
Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA) is launching RAW 2022 – a new, annual open call for young people of the Murray region. Artists aged 16 – 21 are invited to submit an artwork, or a small series of artworks, for consideration for a group exhibition early next year.
RAW 2022 aims to highlight the creative strengths of local young people, inviting anyone with a passion for art – whether they are attending school, are formally trained or none of the above – RAW will showcase the best original artworks being produced by young people of the Murray region.
A group exhibition featuring shortlisted artists will take place from 4 March to 17 April 2022. All artists will be offered a fee for participation and given real-world opportunities to talk about their work and engage with the museum’s professional team. Each artist’s work will be professionally documented and promoted across the museum’s social media channels, allowing their work to be seen by a national audience.
