MAMA Visitor Experience Host

Visitor Experience Hosts, under direction of the Visitor Experience Coordinator, engages with visitors to the museum and assist with the delivery of events, programs, and experiences as part of the broader Engagement Team.

Are you an artist or art educator interested in working in after-school, evening and school holiday art education?

Murray Art Museum Albury runs a busy art education program including adult classes and workshops, primary and secondary classes and school holiday activities. All our classes cover a range of mediums and skills from beginner to advanced.

We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic art educators with a passion for passing on their knowledge and inspiring our local community.

MAMA Visitor Experience Assistant (Casual, Ongoing)

MAMA Visitor Experience Assistant, working as part of the Engagement Team, delivers an exceptional experience to Museum visitors. This position is public facing, and is focused on visitor engagement, customer service, and supporting programming, events and engagement activity across the museum.

Hours variable across a 7-day roster, as negotiated with supervisor.

Work Experience

Are you in Year 10 or 11 and interested in a career in the arts? Each year we accept a limited number of secondary students into our work experience program.

Students will experience all aspects of a working art museum, including exhibitions and curatorial, education and public programs, and visitor experience.

Placements are limited. We strongly recommend students apply early, and consider organising alternative work placement options.
