From cocktail parties to art-inspired team building events, the Museum has a variety of options for a truly memorable event.

Cocktail Event

Elevate your evening with a bespoke cocktail event within our Atrium Gallery. Perfect for a pre-dinner mixer activity for conference programs, after-work business events, and starter activities for large family gatherings.

Availability: Monday – Sunday, 5.30 – 9.00pm

Art Making Party

Unwind with a relaxed and creative session led by a professional artist. Ideal for team building, end-of-year celebrations, or birthday events.

Express Art Experiences

Engaging activities designed to complement your event, conference, or seminar. Suitable for various group sizes.

Guided Tour (45 min): $6 per person (min. 10 or $60 flat rate)

Still Life Drawing (45 min): $12 per person (min. 10 or $120 flat rate)

Clay Play Session (45 min): $16 per person (min. 10 or $160 flat rate)

Portraiture Drawing (45 min): $12 per person (min. 10 or $120 flat rate)

Private Art Class

MAMA Boardroom

The MAMA Boardroom is the Museum’s premium meeting space, ideal for intimate gatherings of up to 10 guests. At its centre sits a striking red gum table, part of the Museum's permanent collection, complemented by carefully curated artworks from the collection that enhance the space’s atmosphere and prestige.

Studio Hire

Studio Hire at MAMA

Located on the ground floor of MAMA’s original heritage building, our two working art studios are available for hire. Bathed in natural light and full of architectural character, these versatile spaces face Dean Street in the heart of Albury’s CBD. Perfect for creative workshops, team meetings, or team-building art experiences, the studios offer an inspiring environment for any occasion.

Photography Sessions

The Museum is a space for public enjoyment, and we warmly welcome the use of our galleries as a backdrop for your wedding, graduation, or birthday photo shoots. We kindly ask that you remain mindful of other visitors and contact our friendly staff in advance to let us know you're coming.

Photography is permitted during business hours only, and no professional setups (lighting, tripods, etc.) are allowed during this time.

For commercial photography or sessions requiring special setup, please get in touch to arrange an after-hours appointment. Fees and charges will apply.

FAQs

Event hire is only available outside of Museum Opening Hours, with the exception of our Boardroom, Studio and Workshop spaces.

The Museum offers packaged art experiences and venue hire only. However, we’re happy to connect you with some of our talented local event planners to help bring your vision to life.

The Museum's catering partner, Canvas Eatery, provide catering for all Museum events. If Canvas Eatery is unavailable for your event, we’re happy to recommend a range of other fantastic local caterers to suit your needs.

Some of our event spaces include built-in presentation screens. Additional AV or IT equipment may need to be sourced externally, depending on your event needs. Our team is happy to connect you with trusted local suppliers.

The Museum specialises in art experiences and corporate/community room hire, the availability for custom style events is limited.

Booking Information

Accessibility

MAMA is accessible to all. Interior ramps and lifts ensure level access to every space, with entry and exit from both Dean Street and QEII Square.

Staffing

An hourly rate of $65 is applied per staff member, for a minimum of two hours (1 hour prior and 1 hour following the conclusion of the event). All functions during closed hours require a minimum of one staff member to be present (the total number of staff members required is at the Museum’s discretion).

Terms and Conditions

All fees are payable in advance.

Final numbers, catering and extras need to be confirmed and full payment made 7 days prior to the event taking place.
