Take your lino printing skills to the next level in this ‘next-steps’ workshop for adults. Building on the basics of carving and single-colour printing learned in our Lino Printing for Beginners course, you'll learn techniques for creating layered, multi-colour prints using registration methods and thoughtful colour planning. Experiment with combining shapes, textures and colours to produce vibrant, hand-printed artworks while developing greater confidence in the printmaking process.

Course Structure

Lesson 1: Create designs suitable for multi-coloured printing techniques.

Lesson 2: Learn how to create registration marks and start carving your design.

Lesson 3: Create your first colour prints and prepare your designs for the next print

Lesson 4: Print your second colour and assess the outcome.

Is this course for me?

This 4 week course has been designed for students who have completed the Lino Printing for Beginners course or who have existing experience with single colour printing and would like to advance their skills in multi-coloured printing techniques.
