RAW26 young artists announced for MAMA’s annual youth exhibition.

Eleven artists have been selected to participate in MAMA's 2026 youth exhibition: Alannah Barnes, Aoife Gordos, Asha Michael, Aurelia Altringer, Claudia Browne, Jericho Ellao, Lilly Anderson, Natasha Beckett, Noah Phillips-Trabant, Paddy Mayhew and Tuscany Taylor.

RAW
is an annual open call program showcasing the outstanding original artworks produced by young people of the Murray region. RAW highlights local creative strength, inviting young people with a passion for art, whether they are attending school, are formally trained or self-taught, to present their work in a professional gallery setting that showcases their practice to a broader audience.

RAW Curator, Adele Packer says, “We received 37 outstanding applications, making the selection process highly competitive.” Packer, along with Public Programs Officer Chris Amor, and two RAW25 alumni, Stella Thurkettle and Claudia Alessi, formed the panel of assessors for the upcoming exhibition.

The 2026 exhibition will explore ideas of memory, history, and human connection linking perspectives on the past, present, and future. Featured artworks incorporate a range of mediums including painting, drawing, ceramics, photography, printmaking, textiles, and digital media.

RAW26 will open to the public Friday 13 February 2026.
