This exhibition brings together woodwork from Phil Murray and Hayden Murray, weaving by Marg Murray, jewelleryby Teagan Murdock and painting by Tamarra Murray, featuring both new works and works drawn from the MAMA collection.

The exhibition highlights artistic and cultural connections between the artists and the deep familial bonds that drive their practices. The family’s ancestral lands extend across the south east of the continent, connected to Yorta Yorta and Dhudaroah Country through father Phil, and Maraura and Barkindji Country through mother Marg Murray.

Shared personal and historical narratives underpin the collection of works that celebrate the beauty of traditions passed down through generations.
