As part of nginha: you are here, a season of programming celebrating artists from our region, MAMA presents a new exhibition celebrating 20 years of activity by of one of the region’s most important artist-run-initiatives, the Cad Factory. The history of the organisation is honoured with a project that draws on their extensive archive, as well as commissions new works by associated artists that look to the future of the Cad Factory. This project will be accompanied by a series of talks, performances, and workshops focused on the nginha Weekend to be held in June.
The Cad Factory is an organisation based in Sandigo, NSW. Led by Artistic Director, Vic McEwan and Creative Producer, Sarah McEwan, the Cad Factory has worked for over 20 years with regional, metropolitan, and international organisations to promote socially engaged artistic practice.
