Ceramics for Beginners

Ceramics two hands turn a pale clay bowl turning on wheel

Ceramics for Beginners
Discover the art of ceramics in this hands-on 6-week course (delivered across 7 weeks), perfect for anyone eager to explore the fundamentals of clay work. Guided by experienced tutors, you’ll learn a range of techniques including hand-building, wheel-throwing, decorating, glazing, and firing. By the end of the course, you’ll create unique ceramic pieces such as food-safe ware, small sculptures, or decorative items.

Each session begins with a tutor-led demonstration to introduce key skills and techniques. You’ll then have dedicated time to practice, experiment, and refine your skills with expert support on hand to guide you.
