Holiday Drop-in: Lights, Colour, Shadow!

Experiment with colour, transparent paper, light and shadow to create a unique collage to take home! Participants will play with collage and drawing techniques to assemble their image.
This program celebrates the National Photography Prize 2026.
About the program
Holiday Drop-in sessions run on Saturday mornings during the school holidays and are inspired by current MAMA exhibitions. Designed for kids and families, the free hands-on activities courage material exploration, creativity and imagination with participants creating their own artwork response to a work in the Museum.
Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult during the activity.

Drop-in format: Bookings are encouraged to assist with material planning. If the room is at capacity, participants may be asked to wait and explore other museum activities until space becomes available.
Free event, please register the number of children attending.
