As part of the third and final season of nginha, MAMA presents two new projects by Albury-based Wiradjuri artist, Ruth Davys. A new moving image artwork featured in the Joss Family Galleries will share vital Wiradjuri philosophies and practices through the artist’s puppet character, Little Ruthie.

Little Ruthie also features in a new Kids Gallery commission that extends Davys previous work introducing young people to Wiradjuri Language. Videos and playful Language resources will sit within an immersive environment that looks to bring some of the wonder of Country inside.

Ruth Davys’ projects are presented as part of nginha, an artistic program celebrating the first decade of MAMA in three seasons.
