You’re invited to celebrate the opening of Dream Variations, an exhibition curated by Kelly Dezart-Smith.
Enjoy live music from local Afrobeats performer Hatulinda and DJ Kisembo, with a Welcome to Country at 6.00pm.
Dream Variations features Green Pastures, a new video commission and collaboration by Albury-based Naomi Impa Musemu and Olivia Oluwayemi Suleimon, as well as poetry by Brian Obiri-Asare. These new works sit alongside selections from the Museum Collection to explore ideas of bla(c)k creativity and self-determination.

Dream Variations is part of the curatorial and research program Parallel Structures, led by Verónica Tello (UNSW Art & Design) and Salote Tawale (Sydney College of the Arts, University of Sydney) in collaboration with Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA). The exhibition design for Parallel Structures is led by Ying-Lan Dann, RMIT Interior Design, in dialogue with Parallel and the Museum.
