In this new body of work, local artist Nat Ward explores the connection between Noreuil Park in Albury and the village of Noreuil in France.

This new series of paintings draw upon field studies along the river bank at Noreuil Park, alongside paintings inspired by research conducted in historical archives and travel to Noreuil village.

About the artist

Nat Ward is an artist based in Albury who has been dedicated to her work for close to 20 years. Ward is primarily a painter of landscapes, with the Murray River and surrounding foreshores and wetlands providing constant inspiration. She is an active member of the Murray region Alliance Française.
