Jeff McCann's Tiny Gardens was a celebration of the artist's childhood memories of time spent playing in the garden. Discovering ladybugs, running away from bees and chasing butterflies.
Jeff McCann is a Sydney based creative who works between the visual and performing arts through a wide range of mediums including public art, event decoration, illustration, workshops and fashion/wearables. His innovative practice strives to create inclusive work that encourages their audience to get involved.
Jeff’s choice to work with primarily recycled materials created a playful and tactile quality to the work. He enjoyed the challenge of taking what is considered “rubbish” and transforming it into something of value again.
Jeff hoped to inspire young (and young at heart) artists with Tiny Gardens to create their own artworks from recycled materials.
