Join us for the opening of two new exhibitions, RAW25 and Avery Collie: Hazard Area. Come and meet the artists behind the works and enjoy a performance by Avery Collie and live music performed by Alysha Brough.
RAW25 is an exhibition of new works by nine local artists aged 16 – 21 that collectively explores the experience of being (a young) human. Themes of self-identity, mental health, community, environment and belonging are presented through a range of mediums including painting, drawing, collage, printmaking, textiles and digital media.
Hazard Area is Avery Collie’s first solo exhibition. A deeply personal show, Collie invites us into her inner child’s dream bedroom, an environment that speaks to idolisation, obsession, relationships, ritual, performance, breakdowns, self-destruction, and biting back against the big, scary world.
We’ll be serving mocktails and snacks (as well as our regular bar) while you view the works on display.
This is free public event, all welcome. Please register.
