20:20 brought together twenty contemporary Australian artists, commissioned at the beginning of the pandemic to create work for our major Summer exhibition. Never before had MAMA have every space in our museum, inside and out presenting new work

Zoë Marni Robertson's three new works for 20:20 charted a narrative arc that began in the present ecological crisis before reversing through centuries of European mythology that supports the idea of man's mastery of the natural world, and the exploitation of earth's resources. All in all, however, 2020 had been a good year for the artist.
