Low Sensory Sessions: Notes from the Field
When: Tuesdays 10am & Saturdays 3pm
Where: Paul Ramsay Galleries and ANZ/Zauner Grand Foyer, MAMA
Notes from the Field features the artwork of 15 contemporary artists, including photography, installation, audio, video and neon. A soundscape of various natural and synthetically produced sounds overlays the exhibition. As the exhibition features layers of sound, video and flashing lights, we are hosting two sessions per week with reduced sensory stimuli. For these two hours per week the artworks will be modified to allow visitors who are sensitive to bright visuals and sound an opportunity to view the exhibition in a calm environment.
Tuesdays 10.00am - 11.00am
Saturdays 3.00pm – 4.00pm
Visitors are always welcome to speak to our team about any specific needs they may have, we are happy to accommodate wherever possible.
This exhibition is supported by the Dobell Exhibition Grant, funded by the Sir William Dobell Art Foundation and managed by Museums & Galleries of NSW.
Please note: in making a booking with MAMA you agree to the terms and conditions.
