Rodney Pople – 'Scapegoat'

Rodney Pople, born in Launceston in 1950, is a high-profile artist working across a range of media, including painting and photography. In 2008 he won the Art Gallery of New South Wales' Sulman Prize and the Kings School Art Prize.

Pople's art is represented in many private and public collections, including the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of New South Wales, the National Gallery of Victoria and the Queensland Art Gallery.

'Scapegoat' is an important work in MAMA's constructive and narrative Australian photographic collection.
